8.26 ct Natural Tourmaline with GIA Certificate, Diamond & Platinum Vintage Ring
Very fine natural 8.26 ct chrome tourmaline. This emerald cut stone has been examined by the Gemological Institute of America confirming it is an octagonal step cut natural Tourmaline. The stone has excellent clarity with only a very slight natural inclusions only seen with a 10x microscope. Such fine clarity always adds to the brilliance of a stone.
Surrounding this prong set center stone are 16 fancy cut baguette cut diamonds and 16 brilliant cut diamonds. All of the diamonds are estimated to weigh 2.0 cts. with a color grade of approximately H and a clarity grade of very slightly included. Stamped plat. on the interior of the shank, this ring in fine condition weighs 13.5 grams. It is a size 8 and can be resized. This handcrafted vintage ring is not to be found elsewhere. The strong color contrasts between the bright green and the white diamonds is very pleasing and with the contrast of shapes of fancy baguette cut diamonds and round diamonds shows how the designer wanted to produce a bold and striking small work of art!
