Cartier Paris Paris 18K Vintage Gold Link Bracelet, c. 1950
Cartier Paris 18K yellow gold large link bracelet, circa 1950. 8 1/2 inches in length and weighing 76.4 grams, this seven link large bracelet is signed in engraved script Cartier Paris and numbered.
Most women, after a proper introduction to its form and fit, call this "gorgeous relaxation". Cartier called it twisted gold tubes. But the trade now calls it Beurre Francois "French butter" because it is thought by many that there are few mixtures of 18K gold with such a deep golden color and a tactile appeal as nice as that of French butter.
This link bracelet is both dramatic and classic; it fits comfortably and can be worn on any occasion whether daytime or evening. It feels, well, wonderfully indescribable. It's large size and, being handcrafted by the most famous of all jewelry Houses, Cartier Paris, makes this bracelet unique and most desirable on the jewelry market today. It is in fine condition. To avoid fraudulent reproductions, we have obscured the Cartier stock number in our photographs.
Please note our model has a medium to large hand size.
All items sold are accompanied by a detailed description with photographs, as well as all original gemological documentation, if specified in the listing. As always, we guarantee all of pieces to be exactly as represented. Each piece of jewelry arrives in a finely gift-wrapped presentation box.
Over the decades of our stewardship as a small but exemplary purveyor of the jeweler's art, we have strived to offer a fine and authentic selection, in excellent condition, of collectible jewels from all highly sought time periods at competitive prices and even lower prices, if possible. In the process we have had the extraordinary good fortune of meeting remarkable people - some collectors, others just extremely interesting individuals who have taken the time and effort to examine their lives and select things that tend to make them smile, or admire, or just wonder at the exciting endlessly creative and nuanced panoply of jeweled artifacts.
