Platinum, Diamond and Fine 7.32 ct. Oval Natural Star Sapphire Ring SOLD
SOLD Very fine cornflower blue natural star sapphire weighing exactly 7.32 cts. in platinum (900) diamond ring. The star or asterism is as fine as a star could be. It is extremely strong with six distinct rays. The star is created naturally, in the sapphire crystal, of needle like silk inclusions which form the star.
Surrounding this fine stone are 24 white diamonds totaling exactly 0.48 cts. Each end of the oval has a border of nine tiny round diamonds and each mid-section of the oval, where the shank attached to the top of the ring, has 3 tapered baguettes. The color of the diamonds is quite high, ranging from F (colorless) to H (near colorless). The clarity averages VS1 (very slightly included to the first degree.
The platinum ring is in pristine, like new, condition. It is made well and has the weights of the stones engraved in the interior of the shank as well as pt, for platinum, 900. This ring is now a size 9 and can be resized.
