Very Fine Pigeon Blood Burma Ruby and Diamond Earrings, circa 2010.
These earrings are well made with very fine diamonds and Burma rubies. The 10 well matched natural emerald cut Burma rubies display the classic "pigeon blood" (very likely heated) color, the estimated total weight is 5.04 cts. Undeniably, these stones are fine examples of Burma rubies as evident of their intense vivid red even color, and they are extreme clean with a high clarity. The eight baguette cut white diamonds are estimated to be colorless, F, and very slightly included to the first degree (VS1). The total estimated weight of these fine diamonds is 4.11 cts.
These earrings, in excellent condition, are 18K white gold, measure .75 inches, weigh 13.5 grams, and have a flip up/flip down post to accommodate either a pierced ear lobe or a non pierced lobe. Accompanying these earrings is an original receipt from Neiman Marcus, dated April, 2010.
Over the decades of our stewardship as a small but exemplary purveyor of the jeweler's art, we have strived to offer a fine and authentic selection, in excellent condition, of collectible jewels from all highly sought time periods at competitive prices and even lower prices, if possible. In the process we have had the extraordinary good fortune of meeting remarkable people - some collectors, others just extremely interesting individuals who have taken the time and effort to examine their lives and select things that tend to make them smile, or admire, or just wonder at the exciting endlessly creative and nuanced panoply of jeweled artifacts.
