SOLD Antique serpent ring with a mine cut diamond mounted in his head and 2 small vivid red unheated Burma rubies as eyes. Rose gold and silver, this serpent or snake ring was probably made in America, circa 1890. The old mine cut diamond is estimated to weigh 0.15 cts., near colorless (I) and slightly included.

Serpent or snake jewelry has throughout the centuries always been a popular motif. The serpent symbolizes eternal love, fertility and the circle of life and regeneration. Our snake ring is a classic example in fine condition, a size 8.75 and can be resized. The weight is 7.5 grams.

Any confidential information Pierre/Famille obtains will be protected and immediately destroyed after the sale is completed.

If a piece arrives damaged, we ask that you contact us immediately upon receipt of the package. We are not responsible for damage to a piece while in your possession.

Please feel free to request as much information, videos and photographs needed to make a good decision as all international transactions are final, Clients are responsible for any and all fees, duties, taxes and tariffs associated with their country. We offer a -no questions asked - 3 days return policy for new clients. Repeat clients of Pierre/Famille will be offered a 7 day, no questions asked, return policy. After this time period, we will offer a store credit or exchange.

All returned pieces must be returned within the above time frame in their original, as received condition, not worn and with all original boxes. Also, with pieces returned, the Pierre/Famille tag must remain on the piece just as received and not removed or tampered with.

One must contact us for the procedure to return the piece back to us safely. These instructions must be adhered to. Any piece of jewelry that is damaged or altered in anyway cannot be returned.

With any piece returned, we ask that Pierre/Famille be reimbursed the shipping costs - in both directions. We offer discounts for cash and wire transfers. If a payment was completed with a credit card; upon a return, we ask to be reimbursed 3.8% for the credit card and paypal handling charges.

Customers purchasing items to be sent out of Colorado state are responsible for use tax in their state or country of residence. Pieces sent within Colorado are subject to all city, county and state sales tax.

All pieces sold are accompanied by a detailed appraisal with photographs by our gemologist, suitable for your insurance company and your files. All original GIA certificates, if specified in the listings will be included.
