SOLD Antique serpent ring with a mine cut diamond mounted in his head and 2 small vivid red unheated Burma rubies as eyes. Rose gold and silver, this serpent or snake ring was probably made in America, circa 1890. The old mine cut diamond is estimated to weigh 0.15 cts., near colorless (I) and slightly included.
Serpent or snake jewelry has throughout the centuries always been a popular motif. The serpent symbolizes eternal love, fertility and the circle of life and regeneration. Our snake ring is a classic example in fine condition, a size 8.75 and can be resized. The weight is 7.5 grams.
