Antique Desk Object of Finely Carved Garnet and Rock Crystal

Unusual and finely carved in round natural garnet bust on a rock crystal base. Accompanied by A.G.L. certificates stating natural stones, this object is well done obviously by a master in the 19th century. This piece, in fine condition, is 3 1/8 inches in length. Circa 1880.
