Cipullo Fish Hook Gold Necklace, circa 1960
Aldo Cipullo, who was a major designer for Cartier, and made fine and distinctive pieces in his own right, in the mid 20th century, has created a realistic fishing hook which suspends from an 18K chain. The hook is signed and is just less than 2.5 inches long. The fine chain is 18 inches long, from the same time period, and also well made (not signed by Cipullo but of the same quality and probably original to the piece). This necklace is totally 20.25 inches long.
